Love sports? Here’s a Heads Up on what to watch:
Wednesday June 18:
Real Madrid v. Al-Hillal
3:00 PM ET
DAZN
In a rare trip to Florida, Spanish football titan Real Madrid looks to take on the Saudi League’s Al-Hillal in the first round of the Club World Cup. Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium will be packed with western fans looking to get their first glimpse of some of the worlds biggest stars, with Real Madrid boasting players like World Cup winner Kylian Mbappé and England National Team member Jude Bellingham.
Thursday June 19:
NBA Finals Game 6
8:30 PM ET
ESPN
Playing at home, the Indiana Pacers find themselves in a must-win Game Six versus the Oklahoma City Thunder. Following a deflating Game Five loss to OKC, in which Thunder small forward Jalen Williams dropped a whopping 40 points to help give his team a 3-2 series lead, Indiana’s health has now begun to come into question. The Pacers’ star point guard Tyrese Haliburton may miss Game Six after straining his calf during Game Five, leaving little optimism for Indiana’s title hopes.
Haul: when a player scores four goals in a single game.
A man with a clutch gene like no other, Sam Reinhart has officially become ‘the closer’ for two straight Stanley Cup victories - both with the Florida Panthers. Last June, Reinhart scored the Game Seven winner to secure the Panthers first ever Stanley Cup title versus Conor McDavid’s Edmonton Oilers. Following up this performance in the 2025 Stanley Cup Finals, Reinhart out did himself by scoring a haul, or four goals in one game, too once against close out the Edmonton Oilers en route to a championship.
