Lebron James, the NBA’s all-time leading scorer and four time MVP, has recently opted in to a one-year 52.6 million dollar player option contract at the age of 40 - seemingly securing his future with the Los Angeles Lakers. Despite this, James’ agent Rich Paul has expressed a lack of confidence in the Lakers’ ability to compete for a championship in this upcoming season. So despite being under contract for one more year, the King may already be looking for greener grass across the NBA.
